kirsten & ed | melbourne zoo wedding
13/01/2016
So, this is how I started 2016. Kirsten & Ed got married. They wanted to keep everything local, but fun. Relaxed, yet meaningful. The held their ceremony under a tree at Royal Park, then ducked over to the Melbourne Zoo for the reception. We probably could have grabbed some more portraits, but drinking champagne and hanging out was more important to them.
I get that.
And when two people are so clearly into each other, and enjoying their day, a portrait can be made out of every stolen glance and smile.
Kirsten & Ed’s wedding felt like a celebration. Of love. Of laughter. Friendship. Shared memories. Kirsten’s speech was… remarkable. But then Ed sang. Just for her.
what a great day, love all the emotions
