yesterday. one frame
weddings , 18/11/2012
When I was at college – studying photography – my first two semesters were taught by by tutors with very, very different approaches to photography.
I got a lot from both. Composition, exposure, only shoot vertical when it is of benefit to the image, whole bunch of practical stuff. That was the second semester.
He would have hated this image. It’s vertical. The focus isn’t on their faces. I can hear him asking – if it’s supposed to be a portrait why are their eyes shut?
My first teacher started me on the path of looking for the light. Capturing the feeling.
I think he would have liked this frame.
Marieke and Luke got married yesterday.
Yep. totally.
Absolutely fantastic
gorgeous frame.
beautiful moment. <3
Goodness, everything from the soft colour of the grass to the calm, serene look on their faces is beautiful, nice work!
yeah so... you found the light there, yo. i keep staring at where the grass melts into the sky, and the clarity of the bouquet against that soft brightness. love it!
Sweet success! This is pure dreamy goodness.
